Because I'm a grown woman who saw "Twilight" twice this weekend and have been reading the books nonstop for weeks. Seriously, I need more excitement in my life.
In spite of my love for these books, I feel it is my duty to warn those of you who haven't gone to see the movie yet, but love the books...
It's cheesy. I mean, for the sake of time they had to cut some things from the book and rearrange some of the details, but they also added some lines, etc to the characters that just made the audience giggle. Giggle not in the little girl way, but sent waves of stifled gawking laughter because some lines just ruin the moment. (**spider monkey)
Bigger budget? That will help too. Also, an acting coach for Kristen Stewart. She looks the part, but is infuriatingly more akward and sometimes kills the whole scene.
Books are far better in your head, for the most part.
I still liked the movie and will see the next one when it comes out too... what can I say?
